Radius COO and Former Salesforce Executive Brings Sales and Operational Expertise to Scale Propel’s Growth in the Cloud Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Market
San Jose, California, May 3, 2016 – Propel, a modern Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) provider built 100% on the Salesforce platform, today announced that David Obrand, Chief Operating Officer at Radius Intelligence, will join the company’s board of directors. Obrand’s 20 years of executive, sales and industry experience will help Propel scale its sales and marketing efforts.
Obrand has been the Chief Operating Officer at Radius since January 2015. Prior to Radius, he served in a number of executive roles including Chief Executive Officer at Fuze, and Chief Customer Officer and Vice President of Global Sales at Yammer, where he helped grow the business from a small team to what eventually resulted in a $1.2B acquisition by Microsoft. He also served in a number of senior sales leadership roles at Salesforce, including Vice President of Vertical Sales. Obrand is an advisor at Eight Partners, and he has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College.
Obrand joins Matt Holleran, General Partner at Cloud Apps Capital Partners, and Ray Hein, CEO of Propel, on the company’s board of directors.
